Whenever we look at producing a new or redesigned website for a client there are always many questions that may impact their decision to choose 2inventive as their preferred designer.
Find the answers to your questions and many others below.
The deciding factor in the production phase of your website will always be the level of communication you provide to us. If possible we always look to maintain a streamlined level of communication with our clients in order to achieve the quickest & most effective results.
We will always ask if there is a particular deadline you would like to meet & will try our very best to meet it. Generally speaking new website production for a small, basic website consisting of no more than 10 pages will ideally take about two and a half weeks.
This question is usually one of the more popular questions that we get asked. It's very difficult to set a price without knowing the project we are embarking on. If you would like to read more about our pricing you should check out the Website Pricing section.
The website design ("mockup") stage is the very first stage of the development process once documents are signed. After an initial consultation with the client / you we will take between 3-5 working days to produce a "mockup" design.
This design is generally not an accurate indicator of the end product, unless it's a good week. We provide the opportunity for you to come back with change requests, questions and suggestions that may affect the end result of your project. This is an included cost which we generally allow a number of changes for.
Once you are happy with the website design we begin the second stage of the production process. Generally speaking after this point we do not encourage design changes.
The short answer is YES.
100% of 2inventive websites are built on a CMS, unless otherwise requested. This is a decision we made early on when 2inventive began trading. You hear many web design companies state that they prefer not to implement CMS into smaller websites as they will be innefective & cost more. Let's make sense of that.
Are Content Management Systems too big for my website?
No they aren't. Contrary to popular belief many CMS are very light-weight, as are the systems we use.
Isn't a CMS overkill?
You can pay a professional to change a small portion of text on your homepage, or do it yourself for free. It's a very simple statement.
Will it cost any extra?
Absolutely not. In fact, our CMS loaded websites generally cost the same as competitor websites that are very basic and difficult to manage as they lack any control.
Statistics allow us & you to benchmark the performance of your 2inventive website. We have access to many statistics monitoring facilites however in most cases we run every website we produce through the Google Analytics system. This is set up free of charge and statistical reports will be provided on request or at a set schedule that you may decide.
